PSC Meeting of KP University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Swat

The Project Steering Committee meeting of the ADP Scheme Khyber Pakhtunkhwa University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Swat was held.
The meeting was chaired by Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mr. Islam Zeb. During the meeting, the physical and financial progress of the project was reviewed and the future course of action was discussed for the smooth implementation of the project.
The Additional Chief Secretary directed the team to expedite the activities and complete all the necessary steps in a timely manner.
This project is a comprehensive project that will bring long-term educational, economic and social benefits.

SDGs Plus Programme Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

A meeting to discuss the future direction and next steps for the SDGs Plus Programme Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was held at the Planning & Development Department. The meeting was chaired by the Additional Chief Secretary, P&D Department KP, Mr. Islam Zaib.
The meeting was attended by a delegation from UNDP, the Director General SDU, and the Chief IDS.
The Additional Chief Secretary was briefed on the achievements of Phase-I, which was implemented in partnership with UNDP Pakistan. During the meeting, the proposed road map for Phase-II was also reviewed and necessary directions were issued.

PSC Meeting on NHCP and KP-HICP

The meeting of Project Steering Committee for the National Health Support Program (NHSP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Human Capital Investment Project (KP-HCIP) – Health Component was held at the Planning & Development Department, today. The meeting was chaired by Additional Chief Secretary, Planning & Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Islam Zaib.
Officials from the Health Department, Sections of P&D, and representatives of the respective project management units attended the meeting. The project teams presented detailed briefings on the physical and financial progress achieved so far under both initiatives, highlighting key milestones, ongoing activities, and challenges.
The Additional Chief Secretary directed the project teams to ensure that all activities are completed strictly in accordance with the approved work plans and stipulated timelines. He emphasized the importance of timely execution to achieve the intended health outcomes for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Additional Chief Secretary further instructed all concerned departments and P&D representatives to extend full facilitation and inter-departmental coordination to address bottlenecks and conclude the remaining activities at the earliest. He reiterated the provincial government’s commitment to strengthening health service delivery and improving human capital outcomes across the province.
