In light of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan’s vision for development of the province, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has formulated a strategy for tracking and monitoring important development projects.
The process of tracking and monitoring development projects will help expedite work on projects and their timely completion.
Orders have been issued to the concerned sections of the Planning and Development Department to expedite work on important development projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and to review the progress on the projects.
A meeting chaired by Additional Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shahab Ali Shah decided to make the tracking system effective for progress on development projects with the help of various departments.
Special monitoring will be carried out on the progress and pace of work on the projects after the approval of the Planning and Development Department in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan will be kept informed about the progress on development projects. Additional Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also monitor the progress on projects.
Special monitoring will be carried out on health, education, infrastructure, mega projects, approval process of projects, and implementation of decisions taken in various review meetings.
