Upon special directions of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Mahmood Khan, the Planning and Development Department along Forest, Environment and Wild Life department conducted its first Working Group on Carbon Finance Markets. The working group was attended by local and international carbon finance experts and developers and technical experts from Asian Development Bank, World Bank and FCDO. The working group focused discussion on how Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can venture into carbon credit markets.
