A training, at divisional headquarter level, was organized by GIS Hub, Planning and Development Department with the support of Governance & Policy Project for Merged Districts to train the line departments on GIS Decision Support System. This system is currently used to collect all departmentsâ data and then to use it for improved decision making, avoid duplication of work, and informed decisions in the appraisal process of ADP schemes.
In the first phase 25 trainees of line departments from Peshawar, Mohmand, Khyber, Mardan, Swabi, Charsadda and Nowshera are participating in the two days long training.
