Project Steering Committee Meeting of “Public Policy & Social Protection Reform Unit” held at P&D Department today.
The meeting was chaired by the Additional Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The project aims at mapping social protection initiatives in the province and responsible for designing programmes, mechanisms and strategies to protect the vulnerable segments of the society. Social protection measures are among the most powerful tools for combating poverty & inequality. K-P Govt is working on a comprehensive social protection policy in order to scale up the social protection system in the province.
