Secretary Planning and Development Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Sultan Tareen chaired a meeting regarding specialized courses and training programmes for the officers of Planning cadre. The training programmes and courses will help in capacity building of the Govt officers. Capacity building significance has been increased as the sitting government focus on strategic development planning to create development schemes on the basis of assets development and on investment return instead of routine development projects. The training support to Planning Officers will help the govt to withstand the visible improvement in the lives of people and keep the people prosperous.
The meeting was attended by officials of Planning and Development Department and Governance and Policy Project.
