Shakeel Qadir Khan, Chairman, Board of Directors of Bank of Khyber and Additional Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while expressing condolences to the family of Mr. Muhammad Asghar Awan, Bank Manager, who was killed during a robbery at Chamkani Peshawar Branch demonstrating great bravery, he sounded the alarm to inform the authorities and sacrificed his life. He said that the services of late Asghar Awan for the bank will always be remembered. May Almighty Allah grant Asghar Awan a high position in Paradise and grant patience to his family.
Shakeel Qadir Khan said that I pray for the recovery of the cashier Hashtam Khan who was injured in this incident. He said that the grief and loss of the families affected by this incident is huge which cannot be described in words and we stand with the affected families in this hour of need.
 According to the Bank of Khyber’s policy, in case of death in the line of duty, all the debts owed are waived. In case of accidental death, double life insurance is paid to the family. In addition, provident fund and graduation of the deceased is also paid.
