The Project Steering Committee Meeting pertaining to Agriculture Sector Projects chaired under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr Shahab Ali Shah. Progress regarding projects âCommunity dairy and meat development, feedlot fattening program, poverty alleviation through development of rural poultry and save the calf program in Khyber Pakhtunkhwaâ were thoroughly discussed.
The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had started work on these projects in order to create self-employment opportunities in the livestock sector, improve food security and for poverty reduction & livelihoods of the farmers in the province.
