Today, a joint progress review meeting was held at civil Secretariat in Peshawar, focusing on the progress and readiness of foreign funded projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Meeting was Co-Chaired by Secretary of Ministry of Economic Affairs Division (EAD) Dr. Kazim Niaz and Additional Chief Secretary, Planning and Development, Department, Mr. Syed Imtiaz Hussain Shah.The meeting witnessed the presence of officials including Secretaries of line departments, and representatives from the World Bank.
Various aspects of the projects, including their physical progress, and disbursement target for the financial year, were meticulously reviewed. Emphasis was placed on expediting ongoing projects and ensuring the implemention of projects to fulfill the developmental needs of the province.
Instructions were issued to enhance cost-effectiveness, with a clear directive to effectively implement these projects for the socio economic uplift of the province.
