The team of Food and Agriculture Organization visited the Planning and Development Department, where they met with the Additional Chief Secretary, Planning and Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Imtiaz Hussain Shah. The Additional Chief Secretary was briefed on various FAO activities, particularly the Tea Commercialization and Cluster-Based Development Plan for Pakistan with special reference to intervention in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Additional Chief Secretary emphasized the importance of such initiatives, which will not only meet local demands but also bring numerous opportunities and have a positive impact on the economy.
