A delegation of officers attending the 42nd Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC) – Domain Specific, visited the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Planning and Development Department, today. During their visit, they received a comprehensive briefing on the Geographic Information System (GIS) of the P&D department. The meeting was chaired by Chief Economist Mr. Arifullah Awan, who addressed the officers’ queries and highlighted the importance of GIS technology in formulating the Annual Development Program.
Chief Economist emphasized that GIS technology can help prevent duplication of work, ensure efficient implementation of ADP schemes, and ultimately enhance the planning process.
