The 15th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party was held in the Planning and Development Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
On the special instructions of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Sohail Afridi, the PDWP meeting approved 13 development projects worth more than 25 billion.
The meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party was held under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary of the Planning and Development Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Islam Zeb.
The meeting was attended by PDWP members and officers of the relevant departments. The forum approved 13 important projects related to tourism, irrigation, roads, food for the development of the province.
The approved projects include the construction of a blacktop road from Ladha to Ghwak (5 km) in South Waziristan and the widening and blacktopping of the road from Sam to Karab Korona Lower Kanigram, improvement, widening and rehabilitation of existing roads and bridges in the merged areas, reconstruction, improvement, widening and rehabilitation of the road from Pir Bala Chowk to Shahgai Thana Chowk Peshawar and construction of roads in various UCs, solarization and rehabilitation of the existing inactive DWSS in Khyber district under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rural Investment and Institutional Cooperation Project, development of camping pod sites and rest houses in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, construction of a road from Ziara to Daburi Orakzai, standardization and repair and rehabilitation of food grain warehouses in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, innovative interventions in the food sector, equipping schools with solar energy in the merged areas, construction of 198 km of technically and economically feasible roads in Peshawar division, Badbir Tehsil of Peshawar district And includes feasibility studies and detailed designs of small dams in Hassan Khel.
