Additional Chief Secretary, Planning and Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shahab Ali Shah chaired weekly, internal review meeting with all chiefs of sections and attached units of P&D. In meeting progress of different development projects, already assigned tasks and, monitoring and evaluation system were discussed. All concerned sections and attached units presented their progress works which were thoroughly discussed and were given directions accordingly.

The 6th Meeting of Project Steering Committee of FATA Water Resources Development Project (FWRDP) held under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shahab Ali Shah in which activities under the project were reviewed.
The 14th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party on Thursday approved 16 projects worth 100 billion rupees. Approval was given in the meeting of PDWP chaired by Additional Chief Secretary P&D Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shehab Ali Shah. Notable projects include a feasibility study for the establishment of economic zones in the amalgamated districts which will be an important milestone for economic prosperity in the amalgamated districts.
The meeting was attended by relevant departments and members. The Forum approved projects in the areas of irrigation, health, rural development, higher education and industrial development for the development of the province. Among the approved projects are construction, improvement and expansion of Janki Khel, Azizi Khel and Maturizi Irrigation Channels in Swat District, construction of Surkhwai Dam Project in Mardan District, construction of Sher Dara Dam Project in Swabi District, and in District DI Khan construction of Kora Nala Dam Project.
Construction of Samari Payan Dam in Kohat District, Purchase of land for construction of Police Infrastructure in Mardan District, Establishment of Social Media Partnership Platforms for Awareness and Feedback on Remedial Measures, Establishment of Bannu, Bunair and Karak BHUs,
Construction of Expressway from Swat Expressway to Buner, GPI upgrade from GTVC in Batgram, GPI upgrade in Harpur, integrated development package for Orakzai, establishment of 17 Government Colleges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Funding for Land and Boundary Wall in Government Degree College Kohala Jabri Haripur District, Upgradation of Existing University Campus in Chitral District to a Complete University, and Strengthening Health System of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in which Non-Teaching Work will be done on DHQ hospitals.
A meeting was convened regarding e-tendering in Planning and Development Department in which progress in e-procurement process was discussed in order to improve transparency and good governance. MD KPPRA and all concerned departments attended the meeting.
A meeting regarding uplift and beautification of urban centers and bazars in newly merged districts convened under chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah. Concerned Deputy Commissioners presented progress work in this regard. Additional Chief Secretary, Shahab Ali Shah urged over assuring quality in monitoring of ongoing projects.
