Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa presided over the meeting of KP Flood Response Plan 2022. It was decided in the meeting that a Climate Resilient Infrastructure Fund may be established in the province through the funds. It will enable the provincial government to monitor any calamity relief and rehabilitation activities at the district, department and provincial levels. Â
Due to the recent flood, the public sector suffered a loss of 77.6 billion rupees while the private sector suffered a loss of 42.5 billion rupees. Crops covering an area of ââ1 lakh 7 thousand acres were damaged due to recent floods.
