The 2nd Project Steering Committee Meeting on E‑Rickshaws was held under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary, Planning and Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Ikramullah Khan. The Additional Chief Secretary was briefed on the statistics of current gasoline rickshaws in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the methodology of technology transfer, the assessment of financial impact, and the roadmap and expected timeline of the project. The Additional Chief Secretary highlighted the environmental significance and benefits for people residing in Peshawar and directed that activities be expedited to implement the project at the earliest possible time. Secretary Transport, Chief PPP and IDS section of P&D, and other relevant officials attended the meeting.
