Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government committed to the uniform development of the province, PDWP meeting approves 62 development projects worth over Rs 18 billion
On the special instructions of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Afridi, the Provincial Development Working Party meeting approved the establishment of health centers and upgradation of hospitals in several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including merged districts, while approval was given to expand the scope of several ongoing projects. The aim is to strengthen the health system of the province and provide the residents of remote areas with the best treatment facilities near their homes. This initiative will usher in a new era of development in the health infrastructure of the province as a whole.
The seventh meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party was held under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ikramullah Khan
The meeting was attended by PDWP members and officers of the concerned departments. The forum approved 62 important projects related to roads, primary, secondary and higher education, health, forests, sports and irrigation for the development of the province.
