Several important education projects have been approved to improve access to quality education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Approval of Degree College for Boys in Mansehra City: A degree college will be established in Mansehra City, which will increase access to higher education in the area.
Government Primary School (GPS) and Government Girls Primary School (GGPS) in Yarakhel Marghuz District Swabi: Primary schools for boys and girls have been approved in Yarakhel Marghuz, Swabi, with the aim of improving the infrastructure of basic education.
Revised scheme for establishment of 6 model schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa approved
A revised scheme for establishment of 6 model schools in Karak, Haripur, Charsadda, Hangu, Battagram, Bannu was approved and it was directed to be made active as soon as possible so that the students can get its effects as soon as possible.
Thousands of students are expected to benefit from these projects and will play an important role in the development of the education sector of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Under the special instructions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi, the 14th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party has approved 18 schemes in the road sector, with a total cost of Rs 17 billion, including 8 feasibility studies. These projects will significantly transform the road infrastructure across the province, improve access to remote areas, ensure safe travel and bring economic prosperity.
On the instructions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi, a 26.6-kilometer road project from Lakki to Hakla is a major project.
The 26.6-kilometer long link road project from Lakki to Hakla, costing Rs 6163 million, is a major infrastructure project for the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The construction of a road from Lakki to Hakla under this project will reduce the travel time in the area and provide safe travel facilities to the people.
The project will also contribute to economic development as it will improve accessibility in the area and increase opportunities for trade and industry. The completion of the project will provide new employment opportunities for the people and will play an important role in the overall development of the province.
The meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party was held under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mr. Islam Zeb
The meeting was attended by PDWP members and officers of the concerned departments. The forum approved 32 important projects related to local government, roads, primary and secondary and higher education for the development of the province.
