The 10th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) was held under the Chairmanship of Mr. Shakeel Qadir Khan, the Additional Chief Secretary P&D Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 29th October, 2020. The meeting was attended by members of PDWP and concerned departments.
The forum considered 36 schemes pertaining to Energy & Power, Law & Justice, Local Government, Irrigation, Health, Agriculture, Road, Industries, DWSS, Urban Development, Sports & Tourism & Elementary and Secondary Education sectors for the uplift of the province. The forum approved 35 schemes with an estimated cost of Rs. 56033.481 million. One scheme was deferred due to inadequate designs and was returned to the respective department for rectification.
Approved schemes of Energy & Power sector were:
 Modification in Malakand-III for restoring its Annual Design Energy Target of 550 GWh. Cost of the Project Rs 778mn. HDF Funded. HDF Allocation 2020-21 Rs 400mn.
Solarization of Mosques & Worship places (AIP).
Installation of additional 40 Mva Power Transformer along with Civil Works at 132 Kv GSS in Wana, District South Waziristan (AIP).
Approved schemes of Law & Justice sector were:
Construction of 07 District Judicial Complexes (AIP).
Construction of 25 Tehsil Judicial Complexes (AIP).
Approved schemes of Urban Development sector were:
Construction of Bus Terminal/ Taxi Stand, Fruit & Vegetable Market and Family Park in Sub-Division, Jandola Tank and Sub-Division, Darzinda, D.I.Khan. (AIP).
Construction of Fruit and Vegetable Market, Cattle Fair Markets, Slaughter Houses in District Orakzai. (AIP).
Peshawar Uplift Programme SH: Establishment of Park at Ring Road Peshawar.
Provision of Municipal Services / Civic Amenities in Major Towns of North FATA.
Provision of Municipal Services / Civic Amenities in Major Towns of South Tribal Districts.
Approved scheme of Water sector was:
National Program for Improvement/ Lining of water courses in FATA.)
Approved schemes of Health sector were:
Up-gradation of SINOR, Swat.
Additional Works in Peshawar Institute of Cardiology.
Reconstruction / Rehabilitation of Health Facilities Damaged in July-August 2010 Floods. Sub Head: Madyan Swat.
Safe Disposal of Hospital infectious Waste in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Integration of Health Services Delivery with special focus on MNCH, LHW, EPI and Nutrition Programme (DFID & AusAid Assisted. Foreign Cost Rs. 8.12 Bn).( One month extension).
Up-gradation of IRNUM PET-CT/Cyclotrom Project.
Establishment of Accident and Emergency Ward at DHQ Hospital Charsadda.
Integrated Disease Surveillance Response System (IDRS).
Establishment of Cardiology Unit & Burn Trauma Unit at Cat: “A” DHQ Hispital Malakand at Batkhela under the Project Covid-19 responsive and other Natural Calamities Control Program (Health Component) on cost sharing basisi (50% from ADP & 50% from PSDP). Sub HEad: (1) Construction of Burn Unit at DHQ Hospital BAtkhela District Malakand. (2) Construction of Cardiology Unit at DHQ Hospital Batkhela District Malakand.
Constriction of Cardiology & Gynae Units at Saidu Group ot Teaching Hospitals Saidu Sharif Swat.
Strengthening of DHQ Hospitals (Building Capacity to respond to Covid-19/Any further pandemic) in KP.
Approved scheme of Agriculture sector was:
Surveillance on Pesticide and Fertilizer Adulteration in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Approved schemes of Road sector were:
Construction of Roads in District Swat.
Special Repair & Maintenance of identified Provincial Highways through Performance Based Maintenance (PBM) Pilot Project under Provincial Roads Improvement Project (ADB Assisted).
Improvement, rehabilitation and construction of new bridges. (AIP).
Approved scheme of Industries sector was:
Detailed designing for completion of balance infrastructure at Mohmand Marble City (AIP).
Approved schemes of DWSS were:
Consultancy for F/S and Design of Mega DWSS base on surface Flow and other perennial Water Bodies in Merged Areas (AIP).
Construction WS & Sanitation at UCs Malak Pur, Pacha Kalay, Batai, Aba Khel, Mali Khel Gradezi, Daggar, Gokan, Elai Angafoor & Tor Warsak District Buner.
Approved schemes of Sports & Tourism sector were:
Construction of Sports Complex at District Lakki Marwat.
 Construction of Sports Complex at District Tank.
Rehabilitation & Improvement of Grassy Ground Swat .
Feasibility Study for Establishment of Sports Stadium at Tekhal Peshawar.
Establishment of Sports Complex at Karak. (PC-II approved on 05.12.2019).
Approved scheme of Elementary & Secondary Education was:
Grant in Aid to HQ 09 Division for Establishment of Cadet College WANA in SWA. (2019-20).
