The PSC meeting of the KP Integrated Tourism Development Project

The Project Steering Committee meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Integrated Tourism Development Project was held under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mr. Ikramullah Khan.

The twelfth special meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party was held under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ikramullah Khan in which various development projects were approved.
The meeting was attended by PDWP members and officers of the concerned departments. The forum approved important projects of various sectors for the development of the province.
The meeting approved the projects for the uplift of Bagan Bazaar in Kurram district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rural Access Ability Project with the support of the World Bank, and establishment of centralized GIS facilities.

Action Plan on Smog in KPK

Pursuant to the special directives of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a meeting was convened to discuss the Action Plan on Smog in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The meeting was chaired by Secretary Planning and Development Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Adeel Shah, and attended by relevant officials from various departments and sections of the Planning and Development Department.
During the meeting, the Secretary was briefed on the Action Plan and the way forward. Discussions focused on both short-term and long-term actions to address smog in the province.

CS KP Chaired High Level Meeting on Development Priorities

A high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shahab Ali Shah, in which the development priorities of the province were considered. The meeting was attended by Secretary Planning and Development, Secretary Irrigation, Secretary Local Government, Secretary Communications and Works, Secretary Public Health Engineering, Additional Secretary Finance and Chief Economist Planning and Development.
During the meeting, a detailed briefing was given on the details of release of funds and expenditure under the Annual Development Program. The Chief Secretary directed that the implementation of development projects be expedited so that projects of public interest can be completed at the earliest.
The Chief Secretary emphasized that timely completion of development projects is very important for the development and prosperity of the province. He said that the government is committed to the principles of transparency and accountability and the available resources should be utilized effectively.
He added that effective monitoring and continuous tracking of development projects are indispensable to ensure their timely completion as per the standards.
