Significant progress has been made in the systematic promotion of tourism in the province. The Master Plan and feasibility study is completed for setting up four integrated tourism zones in the province. The Master Plan of Integrated Tourism Zones is presented to Chief Minister Mahmood Khan by Tourism and Planning and Development departments. Chief Minister agreed in principle with the Master Plan. The Master Plan will be submitted to the World Bank for implementation. These integrated tourism zones include Ghanul Mansehra, Mankial Swat, Madakalisht Chitral and Thandiani Abbottabad.
