Upon the special directions of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi, a meeting of the Project Steering Committee for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Digital, Resilient and Inclusive Education Project was held under the chairmanship of the Additional Chief Secretary, Planning and Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Islam Zaib. The Additional Chief Secretary was briefed on the progress made so far, and the way forward was discussed.
The Steering Committee endorsed the Concept Note for inclusion in the development partner’s pipeline and directed its submission to the relevant forum for clearance. The Committee also approved a Technical Working Group comprising government departments and development partners to support project preparation and develop a new sector plan.
The Additional Chief Secretary directed that activities be carried out with focus, with full facilitation by the Planning & Development Department.
The project aims to strengthen Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s education system through digital transformation, resilience, and inclusive access.
