Planning and Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa convenes Joint Portfolio Review Meeting with Development Partners
All development partners, including the World Bank, the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), convened under the co-chairmanship of Mr. Muhammad Humair Karim, Secretary, Economic Affairs Division, and Mr. Islam Zaib, Additional Chief Secretary, Planning and Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, to review the foreign-funded portfolio across the province.
A joint deliberation was held on all projects and sectors. The relevant project teams and departments briefed the forum on implementation arrangements, execution status, overall progress, and preparedness for pipeline projects. The primary focus remained on the timely achievement of targets.
Relevant Secretaries and senior officials of the Planning and Development Department also attended the meeting.
The Additional Chief Secretary reaffirmed the Planning and Development Department’s commitment to regularly reviewing progress and providing all requisite facilitation to development partners and line departments.
