The 7th Project Steering Committee Meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Irrigated Agriculture Improvement Project was held under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary, Planning and Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Ikramullah Khan. During the meeting, the physical and financial progress was reviewed and the Work Plan was approved.
Additional Chief Secretary emphasised to expedite activities. The Project Team was assured that the Additional Chief Secretary’s office and Planning and Development Department would be available to help them in achieving targets within timelines.
The project involves rehabilitating watercourses, introducing High-Efficiency Irrigation Systems (HEIS) on a cost-sharing basis, and providing capacity building to farmers.
