A team from the Monitoring and Evaluation System of the Planning and Development Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa conducted a field visit to the flood protection structures and humps clearance works along with the sports complex in the Hamlet area on the banks of the Indus River, District Swabi. The objective of the visit was to review the physical and financial progress of the project, examine the implementation arrangements and ensure transparent utilization of funds.
During the visit, the team made a detailed inspection of all aspects of the project. Physical verification of the ongoing construction works on site and review of the implementation of technical standards were carried out. The team also reviewed the challenges existing on the site and recommended timely measures to the concerned authorities to improve the pace of work.
During the visit, special attention was paid to the quality of work, transparency and completion within the stipulated time so as to provide relief to the people at the earliest.
