An important meeting was held in the Planning and Development Department regarding community schemes linked to Mohmand Dam, which was attended by public representatives, district administration, WAPDA officials and other relevant stakeholders.
The meeting reviewed the community-related projects linked to the dam in detail and discussed their progress. The participants also presented suggestions regarding the problems and needs faced at the local level in different areas.
Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Muhammad Islam Zeb directed that PC-1 of all community schemes be prepared and submitted as soon as possible so that their approval and implementation stages can be expedited. He directed the Chief Economist to provide full support in the process of preparation and approval of the projects so that there is no delay in the process and work on the projects can start on time.
These community schemes associated with Mohmand Dam will prove important for the welfare of the local population, provision of basic amenities, and socio-economic development of the area.
