The meeting was attended by the Secretary of the Department, Chiefs of Sections and representatives of affiliated institutions. During the meeting, the Additional Chief Secretary directed to immediately activate the front desk. He clarified that the complaint cell is already established and functional where citizens can register their complaints. On this occasion, he directed that a list of all the facilities directly provided by the department be compiled and the relevant forum be made accessible for the convenience of the public. The meeting also emphasized the need to review the regulations so that obstacles hindering public service can be removed. The Additional Chief Secretary also stressed on making the system for immediate redressal of citizens’ problems more effective. At the end of the meeting, he issued instructions that the department should ensure the organization of “e-Khli Kachhari” up to the district level so that the public can directly access the authorities.
