His Excellency Abdullah Al-Mutairi, Chief Executive Officer, Enertech Holding, visited the Planning and Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where he met with Additional Chief Secretary, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shahab Ali Shah.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding Green Hydrogen Project and Khanpur Sustainable City. Excellency Abdullah Al-Mutairi said that the work on the projects would be started soon. He also expressed interest in other development projects.
It may be recalled that a function was held at the Chief Minister’s House today to issue Letters of Intent to Ennertech Holdings. Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan was the chief guest at the function. The event was attended by provincial cabinet members, the CEO of Enertech Holdings and relevant government officials. The Kuwaiti investment company will invest 1 billion dollars in the province.
The provincial government has issued regular Letters of Intent to Kuwaiti investment company Enertech Holdings. Enertech Holdings will invest in three major projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Enertech Holdings will invest 250 million in two green hydrogen plant projects in the province. These projects include a green hydrogen plant of 84 MW in Gorkan Mittaltan and a green hydrogen plant of 69 MW in Lavi.
Enertech Holdings will invest 750 million in setting up a satellite and smart city in Khanpur. Investment of three to four billion dollars is expected after the completion of the Satellite and Smart City project. The Completion of the project will generate 80 to 100 million in annual economic activity
