CM Discussed The Second Phase of Local Government Elections
Meeting of Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shehzad Bangash and Inspector General of Police Moazzam Jahan Ansari with Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan. Additional Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah was also present in the meeting.
The meeting discussed issues related to peaceful conduct of the second phase of local body elections. Review of the unfortunate incidents that took place in some places in the first phase of local body elections. In the second phase of these elections, strategies were discussed to prevent such untoward incidents.

In this regard, an effective system of coordination should be established between the district administration, police and the Election Commission, said the Chief Minister.
The provincial government is committed to holding the second phase of local body elections in a peaceful and clean environment, Mahmood Khan said.
To make effective use of all available financial resources and manpower for this purpose, the provincial government will provide all necessary resources for the peaceful and transparent conduct of these elections, Mahmood Khan said
